Bioderma Micelle Solution, Pore Refiner, Eye Cream & Serum | Review

I've been testing the a few different variations of the Bioderma Micelle Solution plus a few other skincare goodies from the brand for about a month or two.  I've heard so many positive reviews about the micelle solution (or micellar water, or cleansing water, depending on who's asking), but didn't realize that Bioderma had a full on line of skincare products.Bioderma Micelle Solution plus a few other skincare products - my thoughts. adiaadores.comI received the Purfying Cleansing Micelle Solution, Make-up Removing Micelle Solution (aka sensitive) and the Moisturizing Make-up Removing Micelle Solution.  I also got the Corrective Care for Enlarged Pores (Sebium Pore Refiner), Eye Contour Gel (Sensibio Eye) and the Moisturizing Concentrate (Hydrabio Serum).I'll start with the three different Bioderma Micelle Solution formulas.Bioderma Micelle Solution plus a few other skincare products - my thoughts. adiaadores.com

bioderma purifying cleansing micelle solution

Honestly, when I first got these products, I thought I'd be reaching for the Purifying Cleansing Micelle Solution (aka Sebium H20).  I always say I have combination skin, but lately it's been decidedly normal (no complaints!).  So, I haven't gotten much use out of this cleansing water.  That being said, when I tested it out, I liked that it wasn't super harsh.  I'm always weary of using things meant for oily or combination skin because they can be so drying.I'm happy to report that's not the case with this cleansing water.  It leaves your skin feeling fresh without any tightness.  I bet I'll be reaching for it more as the weather warms up.

Of the three micelle solutions, this is the one I reach for the most.  The Bioderma Make-up Removing Micelle Solution (aka Sensibio H20) is part of the Sensibio line, so it's meant for sensitive skin.  Since I typically double cleanse at night, I don't really need a heavy duty makeup remover. {Side note: You can check out my nighttime skincare routine here.}I like that I can use this all around my eyes to get any stray mascara and it doesn't irritate my eyes at all.  I also like to use this around my hairline and neck because I tend to miss those areas when I'm washing my face.  This is a great gentle cleanser, whether you use it day or night.  If you find makeup removers too harsh then this is something you'll definitely want to try.

The Moisturizing Make-up Removing Micelle Solution (aka the Hydrabio H20) is my second most used cleansing water.  Since I've added the Retinoid 2% (from my Beautylish Haul), I've felt like I should be moisturizing my skin a little bit more.  While the Sensibio H2o has a fresh scent, this Hydrabio H20 has more of a typical floral/perfume scent.  It's not overpowering at all, but I just wanted to point that out in case you're sensitive to scent.  If you're worried about toners or make-up removers stripping your skin, then this is definitely something you'd like.I think this is also a great morning cleanser instead of a typical face wash.  It'll remove any leftover skincare products, and clean your face without drying you out.Next up, I have a few more skincare goodies.Bioderma Micelle Solution plus a few other skincare products - my thoughts. adiaadores.com

bioderma corrective care for enlarged pores

This pore refining solution, also known as the Sebium Pore Refiner, is part of the Sebium line.  It's meant for skin with blemishes and it's like a skincare treatment + primer hybrid.  It's meant to be applied either all over the face, or on oily areas like the forehead, nose and chin.  Although it does contain silicone (so common in many smoothing and mattifying products), it also has ingredients meant to regulate sebum production.I like using this when I want to treat and prime my skin.  I think it helps smooth blemishes a little so that my foundation applies more smoothly over top.  It's just a nice skincare treatment that is nice to add to your arsenal if you have the occasional breakout.  I like that I don't have to worry about it interfering with the rest of my makeup, as is the case with some acne treatments.

bioderma eye contour gel

Like the Make-up Removing Micelle Solution, this eye cream is part of the Sensibio line, so it's meant for sensitive skin.  This eye cream has a light texture (though I wouldn't quite describe it as a gel).  I love using this in the morning because it's meant to fight puffiness and it's soothing and moisturizing.  So basically this is great for me.  Since we're in the thick of allergy season, I've been waking up with puffy eyes and this helps get me together in the morning.  It soaks in nicely and doesn't get in the way of my makeup either.

bioderma moisturizing concentrate

Last, I have my favorite product of the bunch.  The Moisturizing Concentrate (Hydrabio Serum) is part of the Hydrabio line, so it's meant for dry and sensitive skin.  This is a really nice moisturizing serum that soaks right into the skin.  It feels super light but it adds a nice boost of moisture.Even though it's meant for dry skin (layered under a traditional moisturizer), I think this would be amazing as a very light moisturizer for oily or combination skin.  It doesn't feel greasy at all so I think it's actually good for all skin types.  I've heard so much about the Bioderma Micelle Solution, so I was pretty surprised to fall in love with this serum.Bioderma Micelle Solution plus a few other skincare products - my thoughts. adiaadores.comThe items in the post were sent to me for review consideration.  As always, all opinions are my own.  For more information, please click here.
