Burnt Orange Makeup | Fall Feels

Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale. — Lauren DeStefano

Isn't that the best fall quote?  I know it's December and people are in full on Christmas mode, but I'm still savoring fall!I love this time of year and truly experiencing the summer fade into fall is one of the things I miss most about living in New York.  Sure, it's nice to have mild weather year round, but sometimes I feel like I'd trade it all just to see the leaves change in Central Park.In the spirit of fall, I thought I'd do two different looks featuring burnt orange makeup.  This color is just straight up fall to me, but it can look intimidating.  I promise it's not.  Burnt orange is not as basic as brown but not as loud as red.  It's like the cooler cousin to red (at least that's what I tell myself).Burnt orange makeup look. adiaadores.comBurnt orange makeup look. adiaadores.comFor this first look, I used a really pretty matte orange eyeshadow (GNO) and then blended it out with a medium brown/taupe shade (French Kiss).  The rest of my face is pretty neutral because I wanted the eyes to stand out.

Base: Clinique Even Better Glow in Ginger

Lips: Urban Decay Vice lipstick in Uptight + MAC lipstick in A Girl's Got Needs
