Fall 2015 nighttime skincare routine. Perfect for addressing acne and anti-aging concerns | beautyluxelifeHere's part two of my Fall 2015 Skincare Routine (in case you missed it, yesterday's post was a daytime skincare routine for combination skin).  At night, I like to focus on addressing acne and moisturizing my skin.  I love rich night creams, and now's the perfect time of year to start adding in a little extra moisture.

Fall 2015 nighttime skincare routine. Perfect for addressing acne and anti-aging concerns | beautyluxelife

1. Julep Bare Face Cleansing Oil.  I'm still using this cleansing oil (first reviewed here), and am very happy with it.  It's thick but doesn't leave a residue on my skin. There's something so luxurious about cleansing oils and I especially like that I can use this one all over my eye area without any irritation.  This product is very long-lasting, so I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a cleansing oil.

2. First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser.  First Aid Beauty is one of those solid skincare brands that I go back to whenever I need something simple that works.  I first discovered the brand a few years ago during a brutal New York winter.  My skin was so dry and irritated, and their face cream turned things around.  So when I was looking for a foaming but non-drying cleanser, I figured FAB would have something that would work.  I'm very happy with this face cleanser because it works great with my Clarisonic, but it's also effective without it.  I also like that it's not too drying or harsh.

3. Philosophy Clear Days Ahead.  I've been using these medicated pads almost nightly since I first mentioned them last month (see review here) and I'm happy to report that there's been no irritation or adverse reactions.  I've always been weary of using acne medication regularly because these products can be so harsh on the skin.  Luckily that hasn't been the case here, and I like that these medicated pads can work to prevent and/or treat acne, depending on your skin's needs.  I will probably continue to use them nightly even when I don't have any blemishes just to make sure that my skin stays clear.  I highly recommend these medicated pads.

4. Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster.  I use this serum day and night (read more in yesterday's post here) and really think it's helped to brighten my skin.  I may switch to something a tad more moisturizing once the weather cools down (we're having yet another heatwave here in the Bay Area), but for now, I'm very happy with this serum.

5. Ole Henriksen Truth Creme Advanced Hydration.  As I mentioned in yesterday's post on my daytime skincare routine, this moisturizer is hydrating yet light.  This means it's great to wear alone during the day, but can be layered under an oil if you want more moisture.  I'm new to the Ole Henriksen line, but so far, I'm very impressed.

6. Jouer Daily Repair Treatment Oil.  I've had this oil since May and am very happy with the quality and the longevity of this product!  I love using oils and like that this product is actually pretty light.  The addition of retinol means that it's great for acne and anti-aging, both of which are concerns for me.  If you're looking for a nice oil that doesn't have too many active ingredients but will help add moisture and radiance to your skin, this is definitely worth trying.

7. YSL Or Rouge Creme Regard Eye Cream.  I can't remember the last time that I purchased an eye cream.  I'm constantly getting samples as gifts and since I use so little, these samples work out just fine for me.  I like to use a heavier eye cream at night since I don't have to worry about it interfering with my makeup as I would in the morning.  This eye cream uses saffron as a key ingredient to boost moisture, and it's definitely noticeable in this product.  This is a heavy eye cream, which I love.  It's very pricey, so once I run out of this sample, I won't be running to the store to purchase, but I'm definitely content to continue using it!
