Shopping for Mother's Day At Stoneridge Mall + GIVEAWAY {Closed}

What do you give the woman who has everything for Mother's Day?  This was the question going through my head as I browsed through Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton last week looking for a Mother's Day present for my mom.  My mom's not one for knick knacks or tchotchkes, and her taste is expensive.  This means that shopping for her requires time and patience!I knew that I'd either be going to Nordstrom, Williams Sonoma or Lululemon.  My mom is retired, so she doesn't wear business formal clothes any more.  She likes to go walking with one of her girls, and sometimes she'll pop into a barre class.  Nordstrom always has super cute workout clothes, as does Lululemon, so I was going to hit one of those stores to find her a cute outfit.  I LOVE the Nordstrom at Stoneridge Mall because it's big and hardly ever crowded.  In the event I couldn't find anything there, I figured Williams Sonoma would have something nice.  My mom is an amazing cook, so I knew she'd appreciate some artisanal spices or a nice cookbook.stoneridge mallWith my game plan finally settled, I went about the difficult task of actually picking a gift.  Usually when I'm shopping for a gift, I pick out something that I'd love.  But my mom and I have pretty different styles, so that strategy wasn't quite the best for this shopping trip.  So, I did the next best thing...I enlisted the help of my brother.  LOL...that also wasn't super helpful (surprise, surprise).I ended up conducting an informal poll of various sales associates.  It went a little something like this, "Excuse me, but would you buy this for your mom for Mother's Day?" It wasn't exactly scientific, but it was definitely helpful.  Luckily all of the sales associates were super nice.stoneridge mallWith my shopping done, I felt a huge weight lift off my shoulder.  I can now pat myself on the back and congratulate myself for being so organized by shopping for Mother's Day weeks in advance!  Now if only I could do this for birthdays and Christmas...[highlighted_p boxed="true" center="false"]I'm also partnering with Stoneridge Mall to give one lucky reader a $50 gift card to shop for Mother's Day (or any other occasion).  This gift card can be used at any of the stores in Stoneridge Mall (I'd recommend Nordstrom, Sephora or MAC, but that's just me).  To enter, simply leave a comment below.  I will choose a winner at random on Friday, April 29 at 6pm Pacific.  Good luck![/highlighted_p]*Thanks to Stoneridge Mall for generously sponsoring this post.
