Skincare To Treat Acne | Empties

Over the last year or so, I've been dealing with acne on a fairly regular basis (sigh).  The bad news is that it's super annoying and I've become mildly obsessed with monitoring the condition of my skin at any given moment.  The good news is that I've tried lots of skincare to treat acne, and some of it is pretty damn good.I haven't done a skincare routine post in a while (my last skincare routine is in this post), but hopefully the "Empties" posts that I've been doing lately have been helpful in sharing reviews on different skincare products.  Today's post is all about the skincare products that I've been using to treat acne. The products I've been using lately to treat lately. adiaadores.comFirst up is the First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser with Red Clay.  I mentioned this in this post about the best cleansers for glowing skin, so I won't repeat myself.  But I will say that after having finished this tube and moved on to other cleansers in my stash, my skin really misses this stuff.  I never put too much stock in what a cleanser could do because I always figured they were pretty much the same.  I was dead wrong. One of my favorite products to treat acne - First Aid Beauty Deep Cleanser. adiaadores.comThis cleanser really kept my skin clean and helped prevent breakouts in a noticeable way.  The best thing, though, is that it didn't dry out or irritate my skin at all. After I finished this tube, I decided that I wouldn't repurchase it until I'd gone through some of my other cleansers.  And I'm so stubborn that I'm going to stick with this plan even though my skin is taking a hit.  Let's just say that the minute I finish my current cleanser, I'm running to Sephora to stock up on this cleanser.  It's really that good.Next up is the Jouer Anti-Blemish Matte Primer.Skincare products that treat acne - Jouer Anti Blemish Matte Primer. adiaadores.comFull disclosure: I actually didn't use this one up, but after using most of the tube, I think I know how this story ends.  This really didn't work that well for me.  I had such high hopes though!  I thought this would be the perfect primer.  It has salicylic acid to treat acne, and it's supposed to mattify your skin.  Unfortunately, I didn't notice any mattification (my nose still got shiny), and it didn't extend my makeup's lasting power either.Another treatment that I tried (and liked!) is the boscia Clear Complexion Treatment.  This treatment is a lightweight gel that has natural ingredients like willow bark extract, rosemary leaf extract, geranium leaf extract and jojoba leaf that help clear congested pores, prevent breakouts and reduce oiliness.Loved using this boscia Clear Complexion Treatment to treat acne. adiaadores.comI think the natural ingredients make this more gentle on the skin.  I wore this nightly and never experienced any reaction.  I will say that this is a more mild skincare treatment.  In fact, I think it's best as a preventative measure that you could add to your skincare routine even when you're not experiencing breakouts.  I mentioned it in this post if you want to see how I worked it into my skincare routine.Last I have my favorite product to treat acne- the boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding Intensive Wash-Off Treatment*.  I really love this mask.  There's two types of charcoal that clear pores and also moisturize the skin.  Lots of detoxifying masks are super drying on my skin, so I like that this one doesn't make my skin feel tight and dry.Love this boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding Intensive Wash-Off Treatment to treat acne. adiaadores.comAnother thing I like is that the jar is HUGE so it lasts a really long time.  I used this pretty much weekly and it definitely helped keep my skin clear. What I've been using lately to treat acne. adiaadores.comWell that's it for what I've used lately to treat acne.  Let me know if there's anything that's been working for you!
