Target Skincare Picks | What I've Picked Up Lately

I went to Target to get some dish soap and pot holders, and walked out with damn near $100 worth of skincare (and didn't even get the damn pot holders!!).  I've known that Target was dangerous for getting carried away with home decor and stationary and other random knick knacks, but I hadn't been that impressed with the skincare at Target.I mean they've always had lots of Neutrogena and Aveeno (typical drugstore stuff).  But, lately I've been seeing lots of niche beauty brands, K-beauty and natural skincare lines too.  So, I thought I'd share my latest Target skincare buys.  Also, even though this is a skincare post, I have some hair care picks too.Target skincare picksFirst, I have to shout out one of THE best skincare finds at Target - Pixi Glow Tonic.  I've talked about the Glow Tonic many times, but it's a great exfoliating toner that will def help to brighten your skin and even the skintone.  This will forever be on my Target skincare shopping list because it actually does what it claims to do and it's affordable too.The next brand that I want to talk about is Botanics.  I did some digging and it looks like this is the all natural (and mostly organic) cousin of Boots.  Boots is a popular UK drugstore line that's been in the US for a while, but Botanics is new to me.  I bought the Organic Facial Oil, Organic Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm, All Bright Eye Make Up Remover and Organic Super Balm. I slapped the Super Balm on my face right after I bought it because my skin was feeling kinda dry and it's really nice.  It's super rich and feels expensive even though it's only $12.I also discovered that Target has tons of sheet masks.  A little while ago I was on a major sheet mask kick.  Now that I lay on the couch for hours at a time, I don't really do the sheet mask thing (I have expensive pillows).  But, I still think they're great for targeting certain skincare issues.  This one is great for calming the skin,  and this one is super hydrating.Of course I had be extra and buy a 7-day pack of sheet masks.  I've tried about 4 so far and like them all.  I will say that the eye holes are a little small for my face, so they're not the most comfortable masks that I've tried.  That being said it was only $20 for 7 masks.  This is less than $3 a mask which is a really good deal since most masks are $5-10 each. Finally, it's pretty much impossible for me to escape Target without some kind of hair potion.  Kinky Curly Knot Today is one of the very, very few products that I constantly re-purchase.  I'm forever looking for a hair gel that holds and defines my hair but doesn't flake or leave my hair crunchy.  I decided to try the Curls Goddess Curls gel.  Fingers crossed it works. What have you bought lately from Target?  I'm nosy, so let me know if there's anything I need to grab on my next Target run.
