Winter Whites
The holiday season is usually all about dark vampy nails, but now that we're focusing on all things new and fresh, a light manicure feels so much more appropriate.  Here's a quick recap of my favorite nail polishes for this time of year, ranging to milky white to rich caramel.

I love all of these, but OPI's You're So Vain-illa is has been a favorite for quite some time (mentioned here previously).  The Chanel polishes apply beautifully, but I have to note that the Estee Lauder formula is also fantastic and dries a bit more quickly because it's slightly thinner.  It is also the most long-lasting of all of these brands, so if you haven't tried Estee Lauder nail polishes, they're worth checking out.  I have tried Sephora's Formula X polishes and have mixed feelings.  I'm currently wearing Astronomical and I'm still trying to identify the best base and top coat for this polish.  I find that some polishes are really temperamental and their wear really depends on the base and top coats.  I think this brand is one of those, so the jury's still out.See any favorites here?
